Modifying Recipe "BBQ Tofu and Peppers"

Ingredients:
1-pound firm or extra-firm tofu 1 red pepper, cut into 1/4 inch strips 1 green pepper (prepared same as above) 1 large onion, halved and thinly sliced, rings separated 1 clove of garlic, crushed 1-cup natural barbecue sauce
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Cut the tofu 1/2 inch thick, and blot well between clean tea-towels or several layers of paper towel. Pressing it hard between two plates will work even better for getting liquid out. Cut the slices into strips or dice. Stir all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl, and place in the frig overnight. Transfer to a foil-lined baking sheet or roasting pan. Bake for 15 minutes, then stir and bake for another 10 minutes then salt and pepper to taste. Serve in buns or over brown rice. (This tends to get eaten up in a big way. I suggest you double the recipe)
