Ingredients:
4 cups oats 3 cups other grains or seeds (eg: sunflower seeds, buckwheat groats, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, wheat germ etc) 1 cup chopped nuts of choice (or mix of nuts) 1 cup dried fruit of choice (or mix of fruits) 1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup apple juice concentrate 1/2 cup maple syrup, honey or molasses 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In large shallow baking pan, stir together all of the grains, oats, nuts and seeds ingredients. Combine sweetener, juice concentrate, spices and oil in small pan. Heat until it it is smooth and hot. Pour over the seed mixture and stir. Bake for about 30 minutes. Stir after about 15 minutes. Let cool. Stir in dried fruits. This mix will keep almost forever in air-tight container.
