Ingredients:
2 cups of sifted flour (white, wheat or combo) 1/4 cup of shortening 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 3/4 cup milk (I sour it a bit with a dash of white vinegar)
Directions:
Cut flour into shortening with a fork or pastry cutter. Add remaining ingredients and knead lightly. Turn onto floured surface. Roll dough out to desired thickness (about an inch for regular sized biscuits) and cut with a circular cookie cutter or any round object. Bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes.
