Modifying Recipe "Spring Pasta with Peas"

Ingredients:
1 kg peas, unshelled, washed and drained 2 medium size onions, diced 3 tbs olive oil a generous amount of freshly grounded pepper salt to taste 1/4 cup of water 500 gr pasta (I usually use penne or farfalle for this recipe)
Directions:
1)Sauté the onions in olive oil until they are translucent. 2)Add the peas,salt & pepper and water, bring to low heat and let cook until peas are tender enough, stirring occasionally. If your peas aren't very fresh, you may need to add some extra water. 3)When the peas are almost done, cook your pasta as usual. 4)When the pasta is ready, mix it with the sauce and serve.
