Modifying Recipe "Crockpot Corn Chowdah"

Ingredients:
1 onion, finely chopped 2 garlic cloves, minced 16oz bag frozen yellow corn 1 carrot, sliced into rounds 2 celery stalks, sliced 1 brown potato, diced 4 cups veg broth or mock chicken broth 1/2 tsp ground rosemary 1/2 tsp ground sage 1 bay leaf - optional 2 tbsp whole wheat flour or other flour 1 cup fat free soy milk or other non-dairy salt/pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Saute onions and garlic in 1/4 cup water until onions are translucent 2. Meanwhile, add corn, carrots, potatoes, veg broth, rosemary and sage to crockpot 3. Once onions are cooked, coat with flour 4. Add onion mixture to crockpot, mix & cover 5. leave on low all day (6-8 hrs) 6. Add soymilk 5 minutes before serving & remove bay leaf 7. salt and pepper to taste Variation: Add Cayenne or Chipotle powder for a spicy twist!
