Burgers (Chickpea)
Ingredients:
- 1 can chickpeas; drained and pureed
- 1/2 medium onion; grated
- 1 medium carrot; grated
- 2 tablespoons Indian relish or pickle
- 1-tablespoon tomato puree
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1-teaspoon ground coriander
- 3 tablespoons oatmeal
- Flour; to coat
- 1-tablespoon oil
Directions:
Thoroughly mix the first 8 ingredients and shape into 8 balls. Flatten into burger shapes and coat with a little flour. Heat the oil and fry the burgers in batches for 10-12 minutes or grill on well greased surface.
