Basic Ice Cream



Wisk all ingredients together, making sure to get the lumps out of the coconut milk. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturers instructions.

For lemon ice cream omit the vanilla bean, extract and frozen fruit then add 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/4 tsp lemon extract and 1 T lemon zest per 1 to 1.5 cups of milk. If you mix that up and it's not nearly lemony enough, add more extract first, but if it's really close and you just need a touch more, use lemon juice.
