White Wine Sauce

Heat oil in small sauce pan. Slowly add flour by the tablespoon until it forms a thick paste. Add wine all at once, whisking in with the paste and begin slowly adding milk, 1/4 cup at a time until the mixture is thinned down (it will take about 2 cups of milk). Bring to a boil while stirring or whisking constantly. Only allow it to boil about 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add salt and pepper to taste. I use white pepper for a prettier sauce.
