Green Tea Ice Cream



1 1/2 cups of soy milk and the same of coconut milk. set 1/2 cup of the soy milk to the side and mix all the rest of the milks in a small pan. let them start warming over a low heat. in a bowl mix up 1 cup of sugar (up to 1/3 more if you like things sweet) and 1/4 cup of the green tea powder. mix 3Tbs of the arrowroot into this dry mixture then add the 1/2 cup of soy milk. stir until it dissolves and leave it set. it will get thick. once the milk is about 200 degrees (don't let it boil though) remove it from the heat and mix this thickened mixture into the warm milk. chill in the refrigerator overnight. make the ice cream tomorrow night.
